Entry Requirements
- Candidates should have a Full level 3 qualification in the relevant chosen subject area or a higher level qualification in an unrelated subject area. An interview is required to ascertain prior achievement.
Curriculum
A full-time two year programme consisting of two days per week. Learners will complete 16 units over the two years (six core units). The main unit profile consists of a construction bias. Assessment on the programme is a mixture of course work, projects, some presentations/reports and experiments and practical activities. The course will be primarily theory based within the college, supplemented by site visits, enrichment activities and some work experience placements.
