About
The Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE) program, offered by the Faculty of Social Science, Arts, and Humanities, equips students with academic and technical skills across various areas. Recognizing the critical importance of early childhood education, particularly in the first three years of life, the program focuses on preparing children for academic success, promoting mental health, and enhancing self-sufficiency in adulthood. In Malaysia, there is a commitment to providing quality education to young children, emphasizing the development of skills in teaching, assessment, curriculum content, arts and music, learning pedagogy, and health and safety. Graduates of the program are prepared to become professionally trained educators and preschool teachers, with the option to further their studies in the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECE) (Hons) Program. With skills tailored for teaching children aged 0-8 years, diploma holders can pursue careers as educators in various subjects, including science, commerce, and basic learning.
