About

The Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) at MSU Malaysia is a comprehensive program designed to prepare you for a successful career in the dynamic field of pharmacy. As healthcare professionals, pharmacists play a pivotal role in providing expert consultations on health-related issues, medication management, and patient care. With the increasing demand for qualified pharmacists, this program equips you with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to excel in a variety of settings, from hospital pharmacies to clinical environments.

The curriculum covers essential areas of pharmacy practice, including medication management, clinical pharmacy, patient care, health counseling, and hospital pharmacy practices. MSU’s Bachelor of Pharmacy (Hons) program is delivered by experienced, research-active faculty members who are committed to providing you with a solid foundation in both pharmaceutical theory and real-world applications. In addition to the core principles of pharmacy practice, the program emphasizes the importance of research, enabling you to explore pharmaceutical research and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. MSU’s strong connections with external research institutions, including hospitals and industrial laboratories, enhance your learning experience, giving you valuable exposure to the practical aspects of the pharmacy profession.

Upon completing the Bachelor of Pharmacy program, you will be well-prepared for pharmaceutical practice and research careers. However, to become a registered pharmacist in Malaysia, you will need to complete a training program accredited by the Pharmacy Board of Malaysia.
