About
Bachelor in Accounting (Fintech) (Honours) programme is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and understanding in all areas of accounting and financial technology. The key areas include financial accounting, management accounting, audit and assurance, corporate governance, taxation, corporate finance, information systems, blockchain, financial technology, and innovation.
The unique programme provides students with the opportunity to meet the current demands from various industries such as the ‘Big Four’ accounting firms, banking and financial services, multinational corporations, public listed companies, and government agencies.
Graduates will be able to manage accounting-related tasks such as the preparation and analysis of financial statements with an all-round understanding and capacity to evaluate and manage financial technology-related information. Students who intend to pursue a long-term career in accounting are advised to obtain a professional qualification after graduation.

Entry Requirements
PREREQUISITES
SPM / O-Level with Pre-U / Foundation
Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 5 credits (including Credits in Mathematics) for entry with pre-university/ foundation qualification (Except for UEC)
SPM / O-Level with Diploma
Pass SPM / O-Level or equivalent with 3 credits for entry with Diploma qualification.

Pass any Taylor's Foundation programme with min. CGPA 2.50
Taylor's Diploma
Pass Diploma in Accounting or related field with min. CGPA 2.50
Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)
Pass with min. C+ with CGPA 2.33 in any 2 subjects
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
Pass with min. 5Bs, max. 26 points including Mathematics
A Levels
Min. DD or equivalent of min. 120 points
South Australian Matriculation (SAM) / SACE International

Canadian Pre-University (CPU)

Other Equivalent Qualifications
- Business Foundation from other accredited institution with a minimum CGPA of 2.50
Diploma in Accounting or related field from other accredited institution with a minimum CGPA of 2.50
- Other foundation, matriculation, high school certificates /diploma (Year 12) from other accredited institution with a minimum CGPA of 2.50
Note: Candidates without a credit in Mathematics at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the STPM / Matriculation / Foundation programme contains subjects in Mathematics that are equivalent and achieved higher at SPM level.
