Entry Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma or an IB diploma
  • One of the following English language requirements:
    • TOEFL with a minimum score of 80 for the Internet-based test, or minimum score of 550 for the paper-based test, or minimum score of 213 for the computer-based test.
    • IELTS with an overall Band Score of 6 or above
    • Grade 4 or above in English for applicants with IB qualifications
    • Grade C in GCSE/IGCSE/GCEOL English
  • Additional documents depending on the programme (reference letter, portfolio or CV)

Curriculum

  • Year One: Students study the University's core curriculum and compulsory Foundation Subjects in science, general studies, mathematics and statistics.
  • Year Two: Students study Compulsory Subjects in mathematics, statistics and finance.
  • Years Three and Four: Students study advanced subjects in investment and financial mathematics, including Elective Subjects.
  • In their final year, students complete a Capstone Project in which they tackle a problem or research topic in investment science/applied mathematics/statistics, consolidating discipline-specific knowledge, concepts and generic skills developed through different stages of the programme.
