Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering (Hons)

About

Biomedical engineering combines engineering principles with medical and biological sciences to develop innovative solutions for healthcare. It plays a vital role in designing and improving medical devices, health systems, and IT solutions that enhance patient care. Applications include the development of prosthetics, artificial organs, biomedical imaging, and diagnostic tools.

This programme equips students with expertise in engineering design, biomedical diagnostics and treatment, mathematical modeling, computational techniques, and programming—including artificial intelligence. Students will also gain hands-on experience in biomedical instrumentation, signal processing, medical imaging, biomechanics, biomaterials, and other key areas essential for careers in clinical and healthcare industries.
