Bachelor of Communication (Hons) Broadcasting
About
The Bachelor of Communication (Honours) Broadcasting programme provides students with in-depth knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of fundamental concepts, theories, and creative applications in mass communication, with a specific focus on broadcasting. Course discussions and case studies include analyses of the role of broadcasting in Malaysia as well as in the international landscape. Practical assignments within the programme emphasize the production of radio and television content, including radio dramas, short films, documentaries, television commercials, and multi-camera live productions.
In addition to broadcasting, students gain a strong foundation in advertising, preparing them for opportunities in this lucrative industry. To ensure industry readiness, students complete a 3-4 month industrial training programme, providing hands-on experience that enhances their professional development and future employability.
