Curriculum
This flexible and wide-ranging course enables you to put together your own programme of study from a choice of more than a dozen optional modules.
If you are doing the MSc, you can choose three optional as well as the one core taught module – Research Skills – and you will also have to do an individual research project.
It is the same if you are doing the PG Diploma, minus the research project. For the PG Certificate, you need to complete any two optional modules.
Your range of optional modules includes Molecular Biology and Disease, Biomedical Immunology, Biology of Disease, Medical Microbiology, Toxicology and Bioinformatics.
When you graduate you will be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of specialised areas of bioscience. You’ll also have an appreciation of the current range of latest research in those areas.
