Curriculum
First year
Many of the first-year subject areas will be familiar to you from secondary school, yet there are also many new disciplines to investigate. First-year ‘packages’ will help you select sensible combinations of subjects to maintain
course flexibility and choice.
Second year
As you move into your second year you will begin to specialise, although in most cases you can still keep your options open to two major areas of study. This allows you to further investigate and explore diverse areas of science, engineering and technology before deciding on your major.
Third year
Your major provides a coherent study experience and a depth of knowledge in a single science, technology or engineering systems discipline, or in an interdisciplinary area.
