Entry Requirements
- Minimum of level 3 qualification in the subject area you wish to teach
- Provide proof of qualifications
- Access to 100 hours teaching practice over the full term of the course
- Obtain a DBS Disclosure
- Completion of a college based pre course level 4 initial assessment
- Provide satisfactory references
- Provide competence evidence in literacy and numeracy (teachers are expected to display competence at a minimum of level 2)
- Interview completed by teacher training staff members in which the above evidence must be demonstrated

Candidates who successfully complete this qualification will take an analytical and practical approach to all aspects of planning, delivering and assessing inclusive teaching and learning. Whilst doing this, candidates will embed theories and principles in education and training and demonstrate them in their practice.
