Entry Requirements
- Relevant qualifications accepted and recognised by Writtle College.
Please include the following documents with you application form:
- Copies of your examination certificates.
- A personal statement (a minimum of 250 words). This should include a summary of your previous education, any work experience you have, why you want to study at Writtle College, and what you hope to do when you finish your studies.
- If you have work experience, please include testimonials from the company/institution.
- For Design courses, please supply samples of your work, preferably on a CD or DVD.
- Proof of your level of English, e.g. IELTS level (International English Language Testing System) if English is not your first language. (Writtle College English Language Requirements)
- A letter from your sponsor guaranteeing your financial support, (e.g. payment of college fees/living expenses) or a letter from yourself if you are funding your own education and living expenses.
- A copy of the photograph page from your passport.
- Details of your immigration status including a photocopy of your Visa or Biometric Immigration Document if you are already in the UK.
Curriculum
The academic year is organised over two 15 week semesters.
The basic curriculum structure is delivered through taught modules of 15 and 30 credits. The conversion course is required for graduates in subjects other than approved landscape architecture and landscape and garden design programmes prior to entry onto the Masters in Landscape Architecture or the Masters in Garden Design.
