Bachelor of Science in Physics (Hons)
About
Xiamen University Malaysia's Bachelor of Science in Physics program provides a unique multidisciplinary curriculum that aligns with top colleges globally. The program equips young graduates with strong scientific knowledge, a spirit of inquiry, and a desire for study and work, preparing them to adapt to a disruptive period. The program promotes international exposure and collaboration across the physics community, both east and west.
Students will go through rigorous studies and assessments in mathematics, classical mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics, and quantum mechanics. Over the next two years, students can pursue courses in physics (including astrophysics), engineering, economics, or the humanities. The program includes one semester of undergraduate study, one semester of research internship, and a final-year thesis. The program has established partnerships with top European and Asian universities for academic, research, and cultural exchanges. This allows students to gain exposure to a global scientific community while learning and living together.
