About
This course provides students with the knowledge and skills required for them to play a leading role in travel and tourism related service industries. Furthermore, students will have a critical awareness of travel and tourism's roles in business, the environment, and sustainability. BA (Hons) in Tourism Management also hopes to deliver an advanced study of travel and tourism and facilitates progression, both academic and vocational, by means of developing their intellectual capabilities, knowledge, key personal and transferable skills and a capacity for independent and lifelong learning. Students are also hoped to be able to use their skills that will enable them to work across diverse sectors of the tourism industry. Not only that, students will be further exposed to modules that develop cultural skills, negotiation and communication skills, combined with the ability to develop and market a product; namely tourism. By joining this course, students we have improved employment opportunities in an industry that needs professionals with varied and developed skills.

Entry Requirements
- 2 Principal Passes at STPM level and with 4 Credit Passes at SPM; or
- 2 Passes at ‘A’ Levels; or
- The APIIT/APU Foundation or equivalent with CGPA of 2.0; or
- 5 Grade B's in UEC; or
- Canadian Pre-University (CPU) with minimum average of 50%; or
- Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT) with minimum average of 60%; or
- South Australian Matriculation Certificate (SAM) with minimum of 60%; or
- International Baccalaureate with minimum 24 marks;
- Victorian Certificate of Education with minimum average of 50%;
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma with minimum average of 50%; or
- A qualification that APU accepts as equivalent to the above.
