- STPM (Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia): C+C+
- UEC (Unified Examination Certificate): Maximum 30 points (5 subjects not less than B grade)
- ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank - WACE/SACE): ATAR 50
- Canada Year 12 High School Diploma: 50% (average score based on 6 best relevant subjects including English)
- International Baccalaureate Diploma: 24 points excluding Theory of knowledge and Extended Essay
- Matriculation/Foundation: Minimum CGPA 2.5
- Diploma: Minimum CGPA 2.5
- Heriot-Watt University Malaysia Foundation in Business / Foundation in Science: Grade C average
- SMA 3 (Indonesia): 6.0
- Year 12 State Board High School Examination (India): 70%
- Senior High School Graduation Certificate (China): 80%
Additional Academic Requirements:
- Mathematics: Grade C in Mathematics at SPM/IGCSE level or equivalent is required. This can be waived if a passing grade in Mathematics at a higher level is achieved.
- MUET (Malaysian University English Test): Malaysian students using qualifications where the medium of instruction is not English (e.g., UEC, STPM) must possess a MUET Band 2 or equivalent.
