Entry Requirements
Application Process:
- Online Application:
- Complete the online application, clearly indicating your intention to study at the Malaysia Campus.
- Potential Interview:
- Some PhD applicants may be invited for an interview before a formal offer is made.
Academic Requirements:
- Master's Degree:
- Hold an MSc degree recognized by the Malaysian government and deemed acceptable by the University.
- Exceptional Bachelor's Degree:
- In exceptional cases, candidates with a first-class BSc (Hons) or BA (Hons) degree may be admitted if they possess significant research experience.
- MBA Holders:
- Candidates holding an MBA are first required to complete the PG Certificate in Research Methods delivered by the Edinburgh Business School.
Supporting Documents:
- Academic Transcripts and Certificates:
- Provide copies of full academic transcripts from all previous degree courses and copies of certificates for degrees already awarded.
- Detailed Research Proposal:
- Submit a comprehensive research proposal.
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS 6.5 or Equivalent:
- Demonstrate English language proficiency at level IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
