About
The Advanced Diploma in Midwifery program at MAHSA University is a highly skilled program for students who wish to work with postpartum and labouring women after earning a nursing degree or diploma.
A person who has received training in both nursing and midwifery and has been certified by the Malaysian Midwifery Board is known as a nurse-midwife.
Gynaecology, obstetrics, neonatal care, family and culture, antepartum and postpartum nursing, psychology in motherhood, preventive medicine, identifying the early indicators of medical complications during childbirth, and education for women and girls are among the highly specialised medical divisions in which students will receive training and clinical exposure.
Students who successfully finish this program will be eligible to take the Midwifery Board Malaysia certification exam. Following graduation, students will receive recognition from the Malaysian Ministry of Health as State Registered Nurses and Midwives.
In addition to providing competent midwifery nursing, they will be able to identify, address, and resolve issues related to different facets of pregnancy, delivery, and prenatal circumstances. There will always be a high demand for qualified midwives because giving birth and raising children are two of life's biggest concerns, and MAHSA strives to supply the best.
