Bachelor of Business (Honours)

The Bachelor of Business programme at Taylor's University provides a comprehensive understanding of key business functions, including management and marketing. Covering all aspects of business operations, the curriculum equips students with the skills to navigate the complexities of the corporate world or manage their own enterprises. Students are assured to become sucessful entrepreneurs in any industry they're intrested in as Taylor's is the first private university in Southeast Asia for Business & Management studies.

Prerequisites:

• SPM/ O-Level with Pre-U/ Foundation: Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 5 credits (including a Pass in Mathematics and English) for entry with pre-university /foundation qualification (Except for UEC).
• SPM/ O-Level with Diploma: Pass SPM/O-level or equivalent with 3 credits (including a Pass in Mathematics and English) for entry with Diploma qualification. 

Entry Pathway:

Any one:

• Taylor’s Foundation: Pass any Taylor's Foundation programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
• Taylor's Diploma: Pass any Taylor's Diploma programme with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
• Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM): Minimum CC
• A Level: Minimum DD
• AUSMAT (SACEi) : Minimum ATAR 60
• Canadian Pre-University (CPU): Average of 60% or above in 6 subjects
• International Baccalaureate (IB): Minimum 24 points in 6 subjects
• Unified Examination Certificate (UEC): A Pass in UEC with min 5Bs including a minimum pass in Mathematics and English. Candidates without a Pass in UEC Mathematics and English may be admitted if the candidate has a Pass in Mathematics and English at SPM or equivalent
• Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY): Overall 50%
• Other Equivalent Qualifications:

1. Pass Business Foundation from any other HEI
2. HSC (year 12), New South Wales with a minimum average of 60% in 5 subjects
3. Pass MOHE Matriculation with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
4. Pass Foundation (in other field) from an institution recognised by MoHE
5. Pass DIB or Diploma (in any field) from an institution recognised by MoHE
6. Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government
7. Application via APEL A is allowed

Note: 

1. Candidates without a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level or its equivalent may be admitted if the STPM / Matriculation / Foundation / Diploma programme contains subjects in Mathematics and English that are equivalent and achieved higher at SPM level.
2. Malaysian students using English as the medium of instruction in their previous study or with at least Band 2 in MUET or equivalent can be exempted from a pass in English requirement.

English Requirements:

• MUET/IELTS/TOEFL/UEC: Pass English
• Taylor's EET: Overall Score 5.0
• Cambridge English/ELS also recognised; the minimum score varies by programme
• Taylor's IEN: Level 2 - Grade C
• Pre-U/ Diploma: Completed Pre-U/ Diploma conducted in English
