Entry Requirements
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery
The degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Level 6, Malaysian Qualification Framework, MQF) with minimum CGPA of 2.75 (or its equivalent); OR
Bachelor of Science with Hons
The Bachelor of Science with Hons (Level 6, MQF) in relevant field with CGPA of not less than 2.75 (or its equivalent); OR
Bachelor of Science
The Bachelor of Science with Hons (Level 6, MQF) in relevant field with CGPA between 2.50 and 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment (or its equivalent);
Bachelor of Science (with working experience)
The Bachelor of Science with Hons (Level 6, MQF) in relevant field with CGPA of less than 2.50 and a minimum of 5 years working experience in the related field; OR
Other Qualifications
Any other equivalent qualification approved byTaylor's University Senate and Evidence of adequate training and ability to undertake the Degree programme of study; and Satisfies the Department responsible for the candidates's programme of study of suitability of candidacy in a selection interview by the Faculty members. For international students: IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 550 paper-based or 213 for computer-based (May join IEN preparatory course and achieve the IELTS score) The validity of the IELTS or equivalent is within 2 years from the date of the examination.
*Any of the above conditions would require student's research proposal to be approved.
Curriculum
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Students are required to pass the Research Methodology modules (6 credit hours) in the first year of their candidature.
