Intakes
Entry Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Level 6, MQF) with minimum CGPA of 2.5 or equivalent, as accepted by the Senate; OR
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Level 6, MQF) with minimum CGPA of 2.0 and not meeting CGPA of 2.5, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessments; OR
- A bachelor’s degree in Science and Technology or their equivalents (non-Engineering or Engineering Technology) with minimum CGPA of 2.0 and not meeting CGPA of 2.5, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessments; OR
- Candidates without qualifications in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate pre-requisite courses determined by the Higher Education Provider (HEP) and meet minimum CGPA stated above.
Note:
When candidates with a Bachelor of Science or Technology or their equivalents (non-Engineering or Engineering Technology) are admitted, pre-requisite modules in Engineering and Engineering Technology must be offered to adequately prepare them for their advanced study. Degree holders with CGPA above 2.0 but less than 2.5 may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process

Local Students:
- Must possess English competency as per Malaysian undergraduate requirements, whereby the medium of instruction is in English.
International Students:
- MUST: Minimum band of 3.5
- IELTS: Minimum score of 5.0
- CEFR: B1 (High B1)
- TOEFL IBT: Minimum score of 40
- TOEFL Essentials (Online): Minimum score of 7.5
- Pearson Test: Minimum score of 47
- Cambridge English Qualifications and Tests: Minimum score of 154
- Cambridge Linguaskill: Minimum score of 15 OR
- First degree from a university where the medium of instruction is English.
