Doctor of Medicine (MD)
About
This medical programme is distinguished by its commitment to producing graduates who excel in medical knowledge, practical skills, and leadership. The curriculum focuses on five core areas: basic medical sciences, clinical and therapeutic methods, community and family medicine, communication skills, and professional competence. It is designed to develop highly skilled doctors capable of addressing future medical challenges and contributing to the advancement of healthcare. From Year 1, students are based at the Springhill campus (Seremban/Port Dickson), which is also home to UCSI Hospital. This unique setting provides students with hands-on experience, allowing them to perform medical procedures rather than merely observe. Early exposure to patient interaction helps facilitate a smooth transition from student to medical professional.
