The goal of this program is to develop highly qualified professionals with a strong aptitude for technopreneurship who are dedicated, honest, cooperative, innovative, and excel in the field of electrical engineering, with a focus on the development of power systems and renewable energy sources. The need for meticulous people who use science and math to solve technical difficulties unites the many branching vocations in electrical engineering. In order to become more comprehensive electrical engineers, the graduates of the Master of Electrical Engineering program will be prepared with the latest developments in the electrical engineering sector, namely in the areas of power systems and high voltage engineering. Candidates can complete this program in 1 years by enrolling full-time or in 2 years by enrolling part time.

Entry Requirements
Entry Level and Requirements
For Local Students
- A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
- A Bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
- Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (ii)
For International Students
- IELTS 5.0 OR TOEFL 500 OR its equivalent
- Students who enroll with qualification from institutions that fully use English as the language of instruction or from English speaking countries are EXCLUDED from the requirements of competence in English language as stated above
