About
The goal of the Master of Engineering Technology in Mechanical program is to equip graduates with advanced knowledge and skills to conduct research and development in the following areas: automotive, industrial engineering, materials engineering, design and manufacturing, mechanical technology and engineering, and dynamics and vibration. Candidates can complete this program in 1.5 years by enrolling full-time or in 3 years by enrolling part time.

Entry Requirements
Entry Level and Requirements
For Local Students
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with minimum CGPA of 2.75 from local or any other institutions of higher learning as approved by the Senate of UniKL; or
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field with a CGPA between 2.50 to 2.75 is acceptable for admission depends on rigorous internal assessment (for UniKL, the internal assessment is at least 2 years working experience in a related field). or
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with CGPA less than 2.50, with at least 5 years relevant working experience is acceptable for admission.
For International Students
- Bachelor's in a related field with minimum CGPA of 2.75 from approved institutions.
- CGPA between 2.50 and 2.75 may be accepted after rigorous internal assessment.
- CGPA below 2.50 requires at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- IELTS 5.0-6.5 or equivalent.
