Entry Requirements
Any one of these:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or an equivalent qualification, as accepted by the HEP’s Senate.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or its equivalent, with a CGPA of at least 2.50 but less than 2.75, may be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or its equivalent, with a CGPA below 2.50, may be accepted if the candidate has a minimum of five (5) years of relevant working experience.
- Candidates without a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or relevant working experience must complete prerequisite courses determined by UTAR and meet the minimum CGPA requirements stated above.
*Five (5) years of working or research experience includes any professional experience obtained after earning the qualification, including practical training and industrial attachments.
English Language Requirement:

- IELTS Academic 5.0 / CEFR High B1 Level
- Cambridge English Qualification and Tests 154-159
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) 47-50
