A total of 26 students from nine schools around Klang Valley attended the UTAR Leadership Camp from 26 to 27 May 2018 at Sungai Long Campus.
The camp was organised by UTARambassadors, under the Division of Programme Promotion (DPP). It sets to develop leadership potentials in participants aside from educating and nurturing the young generation about the importance of social responsibilities.
“I am confident that all of you would be able to understand the responsibilities and the impact of a good leader not only to a group of people but also to our society. I hope this would be a rewarding experience for all of you,” said DPP Director Lee Choy Fong during his opening speech.
Also present at the opening ceremony were Head of Student Recruitment and Operations (Sungai Long Campus) Irene Wong Hong Lei, UTAR Leadership Camp Chairperson Tan Kai Xuan, 988 Station radio presenters, Cassey, Jason and Fish, UTARambassadors, helpers and participants.
