Entry Requirements

Entry Requirements

 

The general requirements for entry into the programme include:

 
  • Completion of A levels (with a minimum of 240 points) plus "O" levels in English and Maths; or

  • International Baccalaureate Diploma 27 points.

 

Students with the following qualifications will be assessed by the Institute's Board of Studies and may be granted advanced standing up to 1 year (for direct entry into Year 2 of the programme):

 
  • MISTC Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management (DSMM)

  • MISTC Diploma in Business Management (DBM)

  • MISTC Advanced Diploma in Marketing Management (ADMM)

  • Business-related Diplomas from local polytechnics

  • Other related Diploma PLUS Advanced and/or Higher Diploma in business are considered on a case-by-case basis

 

The Marketing Institute of Singapore Training Centre Board of Studies reserves the right to change the above requirements and selection at its sole discretion.

  

English Language Requirements

 
  • GCE “O” or “AO” pass in English

  • English language requirement for international students whose first language is not English: IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 550 / GCSE Grade C / TOEFL IB 80 / MISTC EL4 score 80% and above

  • Students with MISTC EL4 below 80% will be required to attend 6 months of Business English Course during their first year of the Degree programme

* Students are to select one of the two modules. For MISTC progression students, module option is subject to student's programme of study at the diploma level.
The programme is offered on both full-time and part-time basis. For the part time programme, classes are usually held two to three times a week on weekday evenings.
It is targeted at graduates of the MISTC Diploma in Business Management and MISTC Diploma in Sales and Marketing Management programmes. These graduates will be admitted into year two of the Bachelor programme.
