EVOKE: Exhibition Launches

Over 300 promising Raffles graduates celebrated their pursuit of success in style with an impressive exhibition of their award-winning works and a well-orchestrated fashion showcase at EVOKE Graduation Ceremony held across three nights in December 2014. The years of hard work were showcased across three nights – 4th, 5th and 9th December 2014.

“EVOKE” was last year’s theme at the graduation ceremony which aimed to bring forth a feeling, memory or picture into the mind. Through dynamic graphics and the meaning of the word “EVOKE”, the concept emotionally brought forth our graduates’ growth, transformation and achievements at Raffles.

On 4 and 5 December, the graduation commenced with an impressive exhibition launch at Raffles Singapore to showcase Raffles Designers’ achievements culminated with symbolic pieces in the Interior Design and Visual Communication disciplines. Graduates also took the opportunity to interact and share their works with industry partners from renowned organisations such as Jason Pomeroy, founder of Pomeroy Studio, who shared on his memorable experience working with Raffles students.

Raffles Wall of Fame featuring five Raffles Interior Designers namely Peggy Zoe Ng, Mikii Lee, Randoll Lee, Robin Hoong and Ivan Dharmadi, were unveiled to the guests. Certificates were also presented to two groups of Raffles Designers – the first group who won the Ayam Brand SG50 Design Contest and the latter for decorating the Elgin Bridge Tunnel.
