About Cardiff Sixth Form College
Cardiff Sixth Form College was founded in 2004. As a small, private tutorial college, we were dedicated to pioneering a new approach. Combining small class sizes, excellent teaching and individual attention for each student.
In 2009, Cardiff Sixth Form College accepted its first international students. Since then, Cardiff Sixth Form College has accepted more and more students from overseas, providing boarding facilities and first-rate pastoral care. Cardiff Sixth Form College is a thoroughly multi-cultural environment. Cardiff Sixth Form College has students from over 30 different nationalities studying in our college.
Cardiff has been top of the academic league tables, published by The Times and Daily Telegraph for the past six years. In addition, for nine years running, Cardiff has been named the UK’s Top Private Co-educational Boarding School and Top Independent Sixth Form College, by the Education Advisers’. In 2018, 89% of students achieved A*-A grades, whilst 96% of students achieved A*-A grades.

Students live in state-of-the-art, purpose-built boarding accommodation situated just a five-minute walk from the college campus. All rooms are comfortable and self-contained, providing independence but also a sense of community. Students have the opportunity to get to know their talented peers from all over the world, giving them a global perspective while forming friendships which help promote greater understanding.

Cardiff Sixth Form College has a library (4,500 square feet), computer room, science laboratory, restaurant, indoor swimming pool, tennis court gym, sauna steam room, sports club and other facilities. It also provides track and field, badminton, basketball, fitness training, football, tennis, squash, swimming, table tennis, volleyball, choir, drama/theater research, photography, dance, life-saving/first aid, debate, demonstration of human anatomy, wine tasting and other extracurricular activities.
