Curriculum
5 core modules; 1 optional module; and a project; students following the certificate route must undertake 3 core modules; whilst diploma students study 5 core modules and 1 optional module; the core modules include: study skills and legal research for employment law (10 points); structuring the employment relationship (20 points); managing equality and diversity issues (30 points); terminating the employment relationship (20 points); restructuring the employment relationship (20 points); optional modules include: retirement and pensions; tribunal practice and procedure; working with trade unions; handling data protection issues; or health and safety.
