Entry Requirements

  • First year MA students are required to attend and complete all of the courses for each of the five modules which form Part One. Each course requires a particular set of work, prescribed by the tutor, to be completed.
  • Timely completion of all work in any course is an essential requirement of the MA programme. Internal and External MA Part One Exams mark the completion of Part One work.

Curriculum

The MA degree is a two-year, full-time course, structured in two parts.

  1. Part One comprises a series of five modules in a variety of traditional arts and crafts (120 credits).
  2. Part Two is a final Traditional Arts and Crafts Major Assignment module with self-generated project work developed from the skills and knowledge acquired in Part One (60 credits).
