Entry Requirements
Entry requirementsYou are normally required to have an Upper Second Class degree or higher in Linguistics, English Language, Applied Linguistics, and/or Foreign Language Studies. The course is also suitable for those who have not previously studied linguistics, but who have studied allied disciplines such as psychology, philosophy, and teaching English as a foreign language. Students whose first language is not English must have an IELTS overall score of 7.0, or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level. Applicants will also be interviewed either face-to-face or via Skype, and may have to submit a sample essay.
