Entry Requirements

All participants will be expected to be currently engaged in, or have suitable access to, an appropriate field of practice. It will be each participant’s responsibility to maintain access to a working environment to allow progression through the doctoral programme. Candidates with an appropriate masters degree may be able to access the programme at Stage 2. Please contact us for further details.

Curriculum

It depends on your previous studies as to which entry stage of the programme is accessed.

Typical modules may include:

Stage 1 will comprise a Masters in Clinical Research – Designing Research for Practice – Communication, Publication and Dissemination skills – Developing and Leading Professional Practice – Research Management and Governance

Stage 2 – Advanced Research for Health, Social Care and Wellbeing – Advanced Professional Practice – Understanding and Utilising Systematic Review

Stage 3 – Research and Thesis Production with workshops and supportive study days.
